GRID Race Rules
New for 2012 is the 3rd GRID Bracket "C".
GRID A:
Participants who Qualify within Brackets A and B are eligible for this class.
DOT approved Tires with a Treadwear no less than 220 is allowed.
-Meaning anything ABOVE 220. Slick & Intermediate Tires are not allowed.
Car must need minimum safety requirements, (ie. Production cars, or to Scrutineer’s digression)
• Cars must not be leaking fluids
• Steering must be tight
• 4 Point Seat belt is required
• Doors must remain standard.
• Roll cage must be fitted by the 3rd leg, May 5, 2012.
-A minimum of a 4 points & may be removable.
• Visual inspection of car must be made before the event to note scratches/marks
GRID B:
Participants who Qualify within Brackets C and D are eligible for this class.
Transponders will be provided for this class
-Must stay within set cut off time or will be penalized, no break outs
-"Break out" receives 1 minute penalty

Drivers must have valid Drivers License.
No restriction on engine & transmission.
Helmets required, gloves optional.
Race suit optional.
Shorts are Not allowed.
Shoes must be closed toe, no slippers allowed.
Top five qualifiers per bracket will be placed in the reversed order on the Grid.
"Break Out" will result in a 1 minute penalty per break out lap.
Two blocking moves are allowed, any more will result in penalty (will be explained further during Drivers Briefing).
Strictly no bumping. ( 1 warning will be given, the second offense will result in automatic banning from the GRID).
No "Over Driving"; Warnings will be given and on 3rd offense will result in exclusion of the event.
Competitors must be aware of FLAG signals. This will be valuable as you progress in Motorsports.
-RED Flag, race/session stopped. Proceed directly to Pit lane. NO OVERTAKING!
-GREEN Flag, Track open and Timing commenced.
-Chequered Flag, Race/Session Finished. Proceed directly to pit lane. Watch for oncoming cars that may be on their "HOTLAP", DO NOT BLOCK.
-Yellow Flag, Caution ahead. No overtaking.
Drivers must be present for drivers briefing or a fine of P500.00 will be enforced.
Series Sponsor Stickers must be placed on specified areas of the car (ie. Windows)
Trophies and/or goods will be given at awarding on the event date.
*Limited to 20 car grid, slots will be given on a fastest time basis.
